1. Introduction
Welcome to SiftRole. These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform, which connects employers worldwide with verified remote professionals. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Our Services
SiftRole provides a talent matching platform connecting employers with verified remote professionals. We facilitate introductions and provide pre-vetted candidate profiles. We are not a direct employer and do not guarantee employment outcomes.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Employer Obligations
Employers agree to provide accurate job descriptions, conduct fair hiring practices, and comply with applicable labor laws. Employers are responsible for their own hiring decisions and employment relationships.
5. Talent Obligations
Freelancers agree to provide accurate profile information, maintain professional conduct, and honor commitments made to potential employers. Misrepresentation may result in account termination.
6. Fees and Payment
Posting your first job is free, once per account. To see a job's applicants in full you pay a one-time fee for that job, shown in US dollars before you pay. It unlocks that job's applicants for good and keeps the job open to applications for 30 days from the payment. Every later job is paid for before it publishes, and a paid job can be renewed for a further 30 days of applications for a one-time renewal fee. There is no subscription, no monthly fee and no commission on hires. Current prices are on our Pricing page, and a price change never affects a payment already made. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your card details.
7. Refunds and the Guarantee
If a job you unlocked has fewer than 3 applicants 14 days after the payment, half of that payment is refunded to you automatically, unless you hired someone or closed the job before then. If you messaged at least 3 different applicants within 14 days of paying and none of them replied within 7 days, you may ask for half of the payment back; our team reviews each request. At most one guarantee refund applies to a job, renewals are not covered, and you keep access to everything you unlocked. A duplicate payment or a payment made in error is refunded in full on request, and a full refund ends the access that payment bought. Refunds return to the original payment method through Stripe.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the SiftRole platform, including logos, text, and design, is the property of SiftRole and protected by copyright laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
SiftRole acts as an intermediary platform. We are not liable for disputes between employers and talent, employment outcomes, or any indirect damages arising from use of our services.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
